Suzi's Zoo offers a safe and loving environment.
We learn through play.
Caring for children ages 10 weeks to 3 years old.
We understand the importance of nurturing when it comes to babies.
We believe in learning through play approach which is used because children are
able to learn all necessary skills such as Cognitive, Language, Physical and
Social skills directly through their play.
When developing lesson plans, we take into account the child's
age, capabilities and develop activities that support just that. Positive reinforcement
is a effective tool when guiding children through their play.
It is important to always remain positive and loving.
To ensure a safe and secure environment for children to learn and develop.
Being consistent and attentive are key factors that are implemented daily to make it
a great place for everyone.
Hi, I'm Suzi and this is my Zoo.
ABOUT ME
Hello, My name is Suzi and in 1994, I started a Licensed Family Day Care.
I enjoyed all the children that were in my care over those years.
I was a Nationally Accredited family home day care through the NAFCC.
In 2000 we moved our family out of the area to another county
in hopes to better our children's up bringing.
It has taken some time and thought to building the best once again but in
a smaller playroom setting and I knew one day it would come again.
I give credit to God, my Husband, my Children, my Family who have helped me and stood by me.
I am certified in CPR, First Aid and have completed all classes required by licensing.
As well as continued education classes that are kept up.
I am monitored by Family Resources "Child Care Food Program"
to insure your child's very best nutrition needs are met.
This also means that your child's meals and formula are included.
We are grandparents of 5 awesome grand kids.
I provide one on one loving care and age appropriate toys with plenty of
developmental activities to help them grow.
We also have a preschool curriculum starting at age 18 months.

Suzi's Zoo provides wipes and rash ointment.
- SUPPLIES: We ask that you please bring diapers, 2 outfits and approx. 4 bottles to leave here. We request that
velcro shoes be worn for all children of walking age. Socks with non slip bottoms should be worn for non walkers.
- FORMULA: We provide Formula to infants up to 1 year of age. The standard brands are Walmart or Target Brand.
If you use another brand of formula you maybe asked to provide it.
- MEALS: All meals are included and weekly menus are posted on clipboard in Kitchen. Included are; Breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack.
- POTTY TRAINING; This is their learning years to experience everything and I feel when your child shows readiness, I will ask for your help in making this transition smooth.
- DATES CLOSED; Are given to all parents each year in January.
- INCLEMENT WEATHER; Suzi's follows the Pasco County School Closings. If there becomes a Tropical Storm/Hurricane that may Jeopardize the home and or children's well being. Suzi's Zoo has the right toClose business for all safety concerns. The fee will not be changed due to Inclement weather.
- VACATION; there is 3 sick days given to each child after 30 days attendance.
There is also 1 week of vacation (5 days) given to each child after 6 month attendance.
Vacation can NOT be credited in the month of December.
Vacation and Sick are NOT to be used together.
RATES:
Caring for ages 10 weeks to 3 years old.
No Registration fee = $0.00
No Supply fee= $0.00
10 weeks to 1 year of age = $240.00
1 year of age to 3 years = $220.00
No Part time spaces are currently being filled.
Payment is due on Monday.
PAYMENTS:
Weekly fee is excepted by Paypal and Cash only.
Receipts for total are given at end of the year.
LATE PAYMENT:
Late payment after Wednesday afternoon is $10.00 per day. If payment is not received by Friday at closing, your child can not return on Monday.
LATE PICKUP:
There is a charge of $20.00 for each 15 minutes after closing of 5:30 pm. unless other arrangements have previously been made.
WITHDRAWING:
There is a 2 week notice to be given if you wish to withdraw from Suzi's Zoo program.
TERMINATION:
As many of us know, our children are very independent and strong willed. My job as a provider is to help direct the children in a way their energy can promote positive behaviors.
If your child is an excessive biter, hitter or becomes destructive.
This child after having 2 consults may be terminated.
If your child's immunization records are not provided to us within 14 days of enrollment.
You will be unable to return for care until a valid record is received.
The weekly fee is due on Mondays, If there is no payment received by Paypal or cash,
This is also a cause for termination.
There is a 2 week notice to be given for withdrawing from Suzi's part2.
